Metal Finishing Technician

Camo Emploi is seeking a dedicated Polisher (M/F) for our client, a leader in the sheet metal industry, to enhance their workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare components prior to polishing, including cleaning, protecting, sanding, and verifying dimensions.
• Set up production machinery, including grinders, selecting appropriate abrasives, and preparing CNC machine setups.
• Identify and execute finishing processes.
• Utilize both manual and power tools proficiently.
• Analyze surface conditions using technical specifications.
• Adjust tools and abrasives, position and secure pieces, and monitor abrasion parameters.
• Perform surface abrasion.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on polished items.
• Carry out finishing touches for optimal results, including brightening and satin finishing.
• Monitor abrasive wear and manage replacements.
• Maintain production documentation.
• Provide basic maintenance for equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously and efficiently.

Familiarity with machinery is essential, along with the capability to memorize operational sequences, execute production tasks, and adhere to technical and safety protocols.

Attention to detail and precision are crucial, as is having excellent eyesight for intricate work.
