Job Title: Piping Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Superintendent to join our team at Akkodis, a global leader in engineering and research and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the construction of piping systems, including pipe bending, welding, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including ISO 9001 and API 650.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality piping systems.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of piping technicians and inspectors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in piping construction and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and piping design software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
