Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Piping Superintendent to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the construction of mechanical piping systems, including tube bending, tube cutting, and welding.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and quality control plans.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for the construction team.
- Promote safe working practices and environmental protection, adhering to industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and quality requirements.
- Organize and coordinate the execution of construction work, in accordance with operational plans.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and proposing solutions.
- Monitor production parameters, focusing on efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure the smooth flow of work within the discipline, interacting with the project organization.
- Support the resolution of technical issues encountered during project execution.
- Supervise and monitor work performed by contractors or indirectly hired personnel.
- Prioritize and manage activities of suppliers or on-site specialists.
- Manage technical and administrative documentation.
- Ensure the achievement of the MC certificate, prioritizing and systematizing it from the commissioning phase, being responsible for certification and punch list liquidation.
Requirements:
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience in maintenance and operations/construction.
- Laurea in Ingegneria meccanica or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of experience in similar roles and industrial contexts, such as Oil and Gas and Refineries.
- Excellent problem-solving and team-working skills, autonomy in organizing tasks, and a results-oriented approach.
- Availability for national and international mobility and excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent knowledge of the French language.
- Good IT skills (MS Office).
- Medical fitness certificate / BOSIET / sailing book.
- Available for Onshore and Offshore missions.
