Safety Performance Manager

We are seeking a Manager of Safety Performance and Insights who is eager to engage in hands-on work to generate actionable, data-driven insights through various analytical tools and project management expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Initiative Development: Lead and implement significant new projects that have a wide-ranging impact on improving the safety performance of Delivery Service Providers (DSPs).
- Requirements Documentation: Define and articulate business needs for program automation and expansion, including detailed functional specifications for technical teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain proactive oversight and collaborate with Amazon stakeholders to enhance DSP driver risk management and reduce incidents.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate safety performance metrics and behaviors to extract critical business insights, including the creation and adoption of new metrics.
- Performance Enhancement: Identify areas requiring improvement and prioritize program initiatives based on data-driven performance indicators.
- Effective Communication: Clearly convey information, both verbally and in writing, to foster buy-in and collaboration among a diverse group of stakeholders, including executive-level presentations.
- Training Activities: Conduct training sessions for internal Amazon stakeholders and DSP representatives regarding initiatives and programs.
In this position, the Safety Performance and Insights Manager will be responsible for utilizing available data and insights to drive improvements aimed at reducing unsafe driving practices. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of existing datasets to design and implement new programs and processes that promote safe driving.
You will collaborate with a variety of partner teams, both technical and non-technical, to establish and refine mechanisms that enhance DSP on-road safety performance. This role demands a high level of autonomy and sound judgment in decision-making with significant implications.
