Position Overview: As a pivotal member of the Partner Technical Enablement and Training division, you will leverage your vast expertise to craft and implement educational resources and toolkits. This role focuses on delivering technical training sessions tailored for Fortinet partners and creating bespoke content for unique engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to curate content that reflects real-world use cases and highlights solution advantages.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to convey essential information effectively.
- Articulate security concepts and solutions through comprehensive documentation and practical labs.
- Advocate for the technical and business value of security solutions.
- Design and validate virtual lab exercises to enhance the learning experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for partner training events and meetings.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in technical writing and visual communication.
- Self-driven with a focus on achieving results.
- Adept at quickly analyzing and mastering new technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including NGFW, ATP, Secure Access, and Cloud Security.
- Understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Routing, Wi-Fi, among others.
- Experience with operating systems like Linux and Windows, as well as virtualization platforms such as VMware.
- Familiarity with tools like Brainshark and Camtasia is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Fortinet NSE 4 certification or higher is preferred.
- Additional technical certifications are considered beneficial.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in networking and security.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical training or course development is desirable.
