Position OverviewEnsure comprehensive understanding and adherence to the established procurement policies and procedures. Monitor consumption trends and proactively manage slow-moving and stagnant inventory items. Uphold cleanliness standards in the storage area and comply with established storage protocols. Validate all incoming shipments against the corresponding receiving documentation. Distribute supplies solely based on authorized requests and maintain accurate and current inventory records at all times. Guarantee that stock is secured after hours without the approval of the duty Manager, and report any such incidents to the cost controller on the following business day. Conduct regular inventory checks to assess quantities, product integrity, and expiration dates of stored items. Facilitate monthly inventory assessments for all stored products and support the cost controller with outlet inventory counts. Assist in executing quarterly, bi-annual, and annual inventory evaluations of operational equipment. Undertake any additional reasonable responsibilities as directed by the Senior Storekeeper.
