Distribution Technical Specialist

This role is part of our Global Sales & Marketing group, working within the Customer Application Support (CAS) team in EMEA. Our Mass Market customers design products used in various electronic applications. NXP's portfolio of products and technologies enables innovation in areas like clean, safe, and secure cars, communication infrastructure, and secure identification products.
As a Distribution Technical Engineer, you will work with our Distribution Partners to leverage the NXP portfolio into their new designs, helping them with top opportunities and ensuring they are aware of the latest solutions and products from NXP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customers' technical requirements and position the right NXP portfolio options in conjunction with distributors' Field Application Engineers and sales.
- Customer project management, interfacing with distributors and customers to coordinate resources and ensure key deliverables are provided on time.
- Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations of NXP solutions aligned to customer requirements.
- Communicate NXP's product roadmaps and technical product information to customers.
- Deliver training to NXP customers and partners.
- Build and maintain an internal network to stay updated on the latest NXP products and solutions.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Software Engineering, or relevant degrees.
- Passion for science and innovation.
- Team working attitude with key stakeholders to achieve assigned targets.
- Hands-on experience with programming and debugging of microcontrollers/microprocessors.
- Knowledge of software real-time operating systems and middleware.
- Practical experience in programming in high-level languages like C, C++, Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
- Naturally structured and diligent, self-motivated.
- Willing to travel in the assigned region and Europe, with potential for global travel.
- Marketing and sales skills are considered a plus.
