Develop and implement the procurement policy for your commodity (target suppliers, strategic partners, contracts, and framework agreements) Formulate Commodity Strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders, adapt to changes, and ensure compliance Conduct sourcing analysis (internal constraints, external risks, cost evaluations, and supplier market analysis) Establish supplier selection criteria, including global presence, technology, and quality management...

Implementation of Purchasing Strategy

Manage expenditures in line with Purchasing & Commodity strategy Execute a global cost structure evaluation approach for your suppliers Oversee the quality/cost/lead time performance of suppliers (performance assessments, audits, action plans) Update information in the ERP system and ensure adherence to purchasing protocols

Continuous Enhancement of Purchasing Strategy

Identify savings and cost optimization opportunities on a global and local scale Lead cost-saving initiatives, align with stakeholders, and drive implementation Conduct annual (or regular) negotiations with global and local strategic suppliers Manage contracts and negotiations

Market Monitoring & Key Data Updates

Monitor and analyze market trends focusing on prices, suppliers, producers, and emerging technologies Ensure ongoing market surveillance and provide monthly performance reports of your activities Update spending data collection and analysis to influence spending patterns Monitor and report on commodity KPIs (PPV, Weighted Payment, Quality & Delivery Performance)

Qualifications for Success

Master's Degree from an engineering institution At least 3 years of experience in commodity purchasing Strong sense of humility, simplicity, and collaboration: our vision for our suppliers is long-term, making it essential to cultivate strong relationships with them Proficiency in business-level English, along with bilingual proficiency in French. Additional European languages are advantageous.
