Situated within the Purchasing department, our team dedicated to purchasing bears a significant responsibility in the current market scenario. Divided into three teams (direct, indirect, and projects), they collaborate to source and provide L-Acoustics with the best quality resources at the lowest price within the most reasonable time frame possible.

We are seeking a skilled project procurement manager to join the project procurement team.

Key Contributions

  • Collaborate with the Head of Project Procurement to anticipate innovations that meet R&D needs.
  • Steer and coordinate purchases related to various new projects, focusing on:
    • Participating in the identification and integration of new technologies dedicated to projects.
    • Drafting specifications with the project team (R&D, industrialization, and quality teams).
    • Building a panel of target suppliers with commodities and ensuring the deployment of commodity strategies in projects.
    • Managing supplier integration to optimize quality, costs, and lead times.
    • Defining and controlling communication and any exchange of content between project teams and suppliers.
    • Ensuring validation of each project milestone relating to suppliers in terms of costs, quality, and deadlines.
    • Managing contractual aspects to protect the company's intellectual property.

Requirements for Success

  • Master's degree from an engineering school (general knowledge of electronics, plastic injection, cutting processes).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a project procurement expert or a combination of project management in an industrial setting (methods, industrialization) and a procurement function.
  • Excellent sense of humility, simplicity, and partnership: our vision for our suppliers is long-term, it is essential to build good relationships with them.
  • A business-level English proficiency. Other European languages are a plus (French, German).
  • Ability to forge internal links with R&D, teamwork skills (quality, supply chain, production constraints), project leadership skills.
  • Rigor, familiar with financial aspects of project management.
