Director of Financial Planning and Analysis - Mergers and Acquisitions

SGD Pharma, a global leader in the production of glass tubing and molded glass for the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Director to join its team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Group Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Pilot the tools for performance improvement
    • Animate the budgeting process, forecasts, and reforecasts for the Group and Business Plan
    • Pilot the simplification, coherence, and implementation of different levels of reporting on industrial, commercial, and financial performance, as well as corresponding tools, bridges, and variance analysis
    • Realize financial group syntheses: monthly and quarterly reporting, budgets, and forecasts for stakeholders (ExCo, shareholders, banks, rating agencies)
    • Pilot transverse performance analyses (revenue, average prices, margins, KPIs, operational costs) at the Group level
    • Participate in Group transverse projects
    • Ensure the reliability and fluidity of Group financial information
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Pilot external growth projects (M&A), development, and partnership
    • Establish a list of potential acquisitions in collaboration with the ExCo
    • Prepare financial evaluations of target companies and establish associated synergies
    • Realize business plans with operational and commercial teams
    • Monitor and consolidate financial data from competitors (Bormioli, Gerresheimer, Schott, etc.)
    • Present a quarterly comparison of their results vs. SGD Pharma
    • Manage and pilot the due diligence process based on opportunities
    • Participate in transaction negotiations with the ExCo
    • Ensure the follow-up of the target company integration process
    • Follow up on synergy plans
    • Ensure presentations for the ExCo and the Board

This is a CDI position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, as well as experience in mergers and acquisitions. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
