About the Role

We are seeking a talented Android Mobile Developer to join our Mobile & XR team at Volvo Group Digital and IT. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and deployment of mobile and augmented reality projects and applications within the Volvo Group.

As an Android Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for developing technical and functional skills related to mobile development, participating in the maintenance of Volvo Group applications, and discovering different areas of the company. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement new solutions, ensure the maintenance and support of existing solutions, and implement functional and graphic developments.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new mobile solutions using Android platform
  • Maintain and support existing mobile applications
  • Participate in the development and deployment of augmented reality projects
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration of mobile solutions
  • Work in a Scrum and Agile environment
  • Use Azure development tools and platform
  • Participate in international project meetings
About You

We are looking for a motivated and talented individual with a strong background in Android mobile development. You should have good experience or knowledge in Android mobile development (Java and especially Kotlin), be curious about mobile technologies and good UX/UI design practices, and be a very good communicator. You should also be comfortable working in an international context and be able to integrate into a global organization.
