About the Role

We are seeking a talented Android Mobile Developer to join our Mobile & XR team at Volvo Group Digital and IT. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and deployment of mobile and augmented or virtual reality projects and applications within the Volvo Group.

As an Android Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for developing technical and functional skills related to mobile development, participating in the maintenance of Volvo Group applications, and discovering different areas of the company. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement new solutions, ensure the maintenance and support of existing solutions, and implement functional and graphic developments.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new mobile solutions for the Volvo Group
  • Maintain and support existing mobile applications
  • Implement functional and graphic developments for mobile applications
  • Work in a Scrum and Agile environment and context
  • Use Azure development tools and platform
  • Participate in meetings of the international project team (English)
  • Collaborate with global development and design entities
About You

We are looking for a motivated and talented individual who is preparing a Bac+5 level diploma in computer engineering. You should have good experience or knowledge in Android mobile development (Java and especially Kotlin), be curious about mobile technologies and good UX/UI design practices, and be a very good communicator. You should also be comfortable working in an international context and speak English fluently.
