Job Title: Finalist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finalist to join our team at Newrest. As a key member of our Catering Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our food products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify module contents to prevent packing discrepancies.
  • Assist the Transportation team in verifying paperwork matches module diagrams before departure.
  • Communicate with various departments and oversee the preparation and loading of food products.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift items/packages periodically (up to 20 lbs).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability.
  • Good work ethic.

Training and Development:

  • Food Safety/Hygiene Training (Yearly)
  • Food Temp Training
  • Thermometer Training
  • HACCP training
  • OJT

Tools and Equipment:

  • Flight Check Sheets and gate keeper report.
  • Cold weather gear when working in Food coolers
  • Radio
  • List of outgoing flights

Procedures:

Finalizing Modules Cart Chill:

  • Start shift by picking up paperwork from Operations office (Food Production Check Sheet & Gate Keeper)
  • Coordinate the sorting of modules in Cart Chill area by flight # and type (UA and UAX flights) and stage in assigned areas.
  • Verify whether flight is downline and ensure all required goods are provided for each segment.
  • Ensure all information corresponds with physical quantities and equipment depending on A/C type.
  • Perform routine food temperature checks to maintain food safety requirements.
  • Confirm that assigned flights have been completed and ready for departures upon completion of shift.
