We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Product Manager, API Management to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for managing one of our Creation Platform capabilities, which serves the end-to-end life cycle of APIs exposed to consumers and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Strategy and Positioning: Conduct requirement analysis, market analysis, and IT/technical watch to inform platform strategy and positioning.
- API Management: Oversee the management of APIs, including testing, documentation, and publishing to a catalog, ensuring that the platform follows security principles and mandates.
- Platform Lifecycle Management: Manage the platform capability through its lifecycle, from introducing new technologies to product end of life and decommissioning strategy.
- Adoption and Success Metrics: Measure success using metrics and implement adoption strategies to maximize capability consumption.
- Strong Communication and Analytical Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and analyze complex technical and business requirements.
- Results-Oriented and Energetic: Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English: Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business: Equivalent experience in product management, preferably in a B2B context.
- Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management, with a focus on API management and platform capabilities.
- Agile/SAFe Experience: Experience working in agile or SAFe environments.
