About the Role

We are seeking an IT Specialist System Administrator to join our team at Alice & Bob, a pioneering startup in the field of quantum computing. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in building and structuring our IT practice, providing reactive support to our users, and anticipating future IT needs in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage the infrastructure of our IT systems, including servers, physical machines, and scientific equipment.
  • Setup and manage IT systems and applications, both on-premise and SaaS.
  • Automate deployment of servers and services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Automate IT tasks, including deployment of tools, updates, monitoring, conformity, and security enhancements.
  • Manage and maintain our Identity Provider (IDP) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) workflows.
  • Oversee IT systems and main corporate IT software, including Office suite, mail server, Slack, internal wiki, GitLab, and file server.
  • Monitor our IT infrastructure and tools to ensure everything is running smoothly.
  • Manage, maintain, and improve our networking infrastructure, including LAN, firewall, routing, VLAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
  • Design and implement new network solutions when needed.
  • Manage tools and services related to security and compliance, including company-wide policies and security protocols.
  • Lead incident management processes within the IT domain, including incident communication and post-mortem reports.
  • Take ownership of L2/L3 support troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate the needs and requests of the IT team or end-users to offer technical solutions.
  • Lead and manage technical IT projects while collaborating with various engineering teams.
  • Share knowledge with others, either technically or non-technically, through knowledge bases, training of colleagues, and internal talks.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist System Administrator with expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, as well as Infrastructure as Code (Ansible).
