As a Legal Advisor within the Legal Division, you will collaborate with a team of 7 professionals dedicated to the creation and distribution of our open fund offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of a proactive team of legal experts supporting AXA IM's management and commercial initiatives both domestically and internationally, with a focus on retail products and distribution channels. Your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks due to the global nature of our operations, necessitating collaboration with various AXA IM departments. Your advisory responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal guidance for product structuring,
- Evaluating legal ramifications associated with modifications in cross-border offerings,
- Negotiating agreements with fund stakeholders,
- Ensuring regulatory compliance for our funds and partnerships.
- Overseeing registration procedures for French, Luxembourgish, and Irish funds within the EU and Asia, in coordination with local advisors,
- Reviewing client presentations and marketing collateral,
- Negotiating distribution agreements and contracts.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Qualifications
- Law degree (Master's level) with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Asset Management, particularly in collective management products and international financial distribution (UCITS/AIF),
- Exceptional writing and analytical abilities,
- Capacity to foresee legal risks,
- Collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills,
- Highly organized and detail-oriented,
- Driven to thrive in a dynamic international setting,
- Interest in finance and collective management,
- Proficiency in English (both oral and written).
