About the Role
Akeneo is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our Design team on a permanent basis. As a Product Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the user experience of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product design activities from discovery to delivery, defining plans and methods, and collaborating with squad members.
- Conduct user research, leveraging guidance from User Researchers, to inform design decisions.
- Design sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in collaboration with the squad and users.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and outstanding user experience.
- Co-design with the squad and Design peers, soliciting and providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the Design System, ensuring design consistency and raising the bar for user experience across the product suite.
- Socialize design internally and externally, contributing to increasing design maturity and promoting Akeneo's brand.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in UX/UI/Product design, with a strong background in UX and qualitative research skills.
- Significant experience designing in a B2B environment, ideally in a software company.
- Fluency in English, as 70% of customers don't speak French.
- Comfortable using Figma.
- Growth mindset, good emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
