Solar Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Manager to join our team at EDP Energie France. As a key member of our renewable energy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of new solar projects in France.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the project execution of solar power plants, managing external providers and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Supervise development partners during the development phase, ensuring deadlines are met and potential hurdles are overcome.
- Coordinate with the asset management team to monitor assets in operation and ensure correct O&M and billing operations.
- Support the identification of regulatory requirements in France and update technical specifications and offers to ensure compliance.
- Ensure personal safety and that of third parties by complying with and enforcing regulations on occupational risk prevention.
- Ensure EDP standards are adhered to by EPC partners and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop relevant offers, ensuring technical feasibility.
- University training in engineering, preferably electrical specialty.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical projects, including photovoltaic installations, industrial self-consumption installations, and large-scale generation installations.
- Experience in leading internal or external teams in the execution of technical projects.
- Technical knowledge to challenge and discuss solutions with external teams.
- Knowledge of the French electricity sector and current legislation on self-consumption and electrical installations.
- Microsoft Office Power User skills.
- Availability to travel frequently within France.
- Knowledge of tools such as PVSyst and Helioscope.
- Working proficiency in French.
