Plan Approval Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Plan Approval Surveyor to join our Local Plan Approval Office in Nantes – Saint Herblain, France. As a key member of our French Plan Office (FPO), you will play a crucial role in verifying the compliance of ship designs to current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct plan reviews for all types of ships under construction in France or abroad, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Review propulsion systems, electrical engineering, energy engineering, and mechanical engineering aspects of ship designs.
  • Collaborate with our global network to ensure timely and high-quality reviews.
  • Manage technical and contractual aspects of reviews, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Requirements:
  • Graduate in naval engineering or relevant field.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge in propulsion systems, electrical engineering, energy engineering, and mechanical engineering.
  • Proficient in computer tools and excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to various situations.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with our network and clients.
