About the Role

As a key member of the INSEAD Advancement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective fundraising strategies and plans to secure major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record all information in the Advancement databases (Peoplesoft and Salesforce) in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies and plans to meet or exceed annual fundraising goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to secure major gifts
  • Collaborate with the Advancement team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the Advancement team to ensure effective fundraising practices
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, development, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing major gifts
  • Personable with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective fundraising strategies and plans
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices, ethics, and regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding of fundraising and philanthropy within educational institutions
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills
  • Track record of making a significant impact as a member of a diverse team within a complex, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment
  • Able to travel to the UK and US at least 6 times a year
