Job Opportunity
Faurecia, a global leader in automotive technology, is seeking a motivated and skilled Data Scientist Finance Trainee to join its Global Business Services (GBS) organization.
The GBS organization is responsible for end-to-end business processes, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report. To improve and simplify these processes, the GBS organization focuses on digitalization through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data and process mining solutions.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the project management and IT teams to define and implement process improvement solutions. They will be responsible for using Palantir Foundry, a collaborative big data software platform, to analyze and explore SAP tables and other data sources.
The Data Scientist Finance Trainee will also be responsible for developing prediction models using machine learning algorithms and implementing transformations on datasets using Pyspark. They will work in a dynamic and international environment, located in Nanterre, France.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Data Science
- Strong interest and excellent understanding of IT applications, including data models, database design, development, data preparation, and data mining
- Knowledge of SQL query, Python, and Pyspark
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good social skills combined with a down-to-earth attitude
- Result-driven, motivated, focused, and persistent on improvement and quality
- Business and customer-oriented mindset
