The Forvia Global Business Services (GBS) is our global organization responsible for end-to-end business processes, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report. To improve and simplify our processes, we focus on digitalization through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data and process mining solutions.
We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Scientist Intern to join our GBS digital transformation team. As a Data Scientist Intern, you will support our team in defining and implementing process improvement solutions using advanced IT tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with project management and IT teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Use Palantir Foundry to analyze and explore SAP tables and other data sources
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to develop prediction models relevant to business needs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Data Science
- Strong understanding of IT applications, data models, database design, and data mining
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Pyspark
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good social skills and a down-to-earth attitude
