Description of the Position
This role is part of the Project Management team at Sabena Technics and is responsible for supporting the preparation of complex offers for the company's maintenance, modification, and study projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Director and other stakeholders to develop technical and economic proposals for large-scale projects, worth over €10 million, that involve multiple sites, industries, and technical disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aeronautical industry, particularly in the MRO sector, and will be able to analyze complex data, develop innovative solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Missions and Responsibilities
- Support the commercial teams in the development and pricing of offers, including defining the target solution based on client needs and technical capabilities, and developing a detailed budget.
- Ensure the accurate dimensioning of technical offers by analyzing pricing data from internal teams and subcontractors, and reconciling pricing with benchmark data and internal experience.
- Integrate internal and external expertise to develop comprehensive offers.
- Develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Consolidate and update cost bases and construction standards for technical and economic offers.
- Pilot the planning and construction of offers, ensuring timely completion and validation of milestones.
- Implement the commercial and project management process for complex projects.
- Support commercial teams in technical and economic presentations.
- Participate in the operational launch of new offers as needed.
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of experience in the aeronautical industry, preferably in the MRO sector.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and present complex data.
- Ability to challenge existing processes and develop innovative solutions.
- Proactive and autonomous, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
