Equity Capital Markets – Analyst Intern
Full-time Position
Founded in 1996, Bryan, Garnier & Co is a distinguished independent investment bank dedicated to supporting European growth enterprises. Our firm specializes in providing institutional sales and trading, asset management, and corporate finance services tailored for institutional investors, emerging growth companies, and entrepreneurs.
As a key member of our Corporate Finance division, the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Department is engaged in a variety of capital market transactions across sectors such as Technology, Healthcare, Consumer, and Business Services. We have consistently received accolades for our commitment to fostering strong growth companies within these sectors.
We are seeking an intern to assist with the expanding operations of our ECM Department.
The intern will play a vital role in supporting our ECM team with various aspects of capital markets transaction execution and origination efforts, including:
- Providing comprehensive transaction support and contributing to various internal initiatives.
- Preparing, negotiating, and finalizing all types of origination materials (teasers, pitches, and other documentation) as well as execution materials (marketing presentations, prospectuses, internal briefing documents, legal paperwork, timelines, mandates, agreements, and other legal and regulatory documents necessary for ECM transactions).
- Engaging in financial and transaction structuring: advising clients on the financial and legal structuring of equity capital markets transactions.
- Conducting research and market analysis: performing thorough evaluations of transactions within our targeted sectors and market landscape.
The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional academic background from top-tier institutions with a degree in Business or Finance, such as HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Sciences Po, EM Lyon, LSE, or Dauphine. Previous internship experience in investment banking, structured finance, or private equity is advantageous.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis and structuring.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Proficient in database management and familiar with Bloomberg, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A demonstrated interest in our sectors of expertise and capital markets.
- Capacity to perform under pressure.
