D2M Services is seeking a highly skilled Hull Structure Engineer to join our team.

Our client, a leading ship design and marine engineering firm specializing in new builds and retrofits for vessels and offshore platforms within the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, requires your expertise.

Your Role:

  • Deliver hull structural designs and calculations adhering to Class Rules and Client specifications.
  • Supervise project designers and draftsmen responsible for hull construction drawings, ensuring a high standard of technical quality.
  • Share valuable insights and lessons learned from daily project execution.

Project Examples:

  • Basic Design FPSO Hulls
  • Methanol Retrofit Projects
  • Carbon Capture Retrofits
  • Floating Wind Asset Designs

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Marine Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of offshore structures and naval architecture, specializing in structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures (FEMAP Software and Class software VeriStar Hull).
  • Familiarity with structural interfaces across disciplines, including mooring structures, cranes, topsides, and other equipment integration.
  • Strong understanding of CLASS Rules (ABS, BV, DNV), IMO regulations, and international standards.
