About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician R&D Cement Specialist to join our team at CHRYSO. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative cement solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, characterization, and improvement of our cement products by conducting studies in accordance with project specifications, costs, and deadlines.
- Participate in the characterization of raw materials and products, experimental grinding of materials, and characterization of the resulting powder and its properties in cement materials (e.g., mortar tests).
- Ensure the execution of tests and provide support for related tasks (e.g., material conditioning and preparation, preparation and cleaning of molds, compression tests, etc.).
- Analyze results and edit study reports to propose solutions.
- Contribute to the mastery of the quality of results and the evolution of our methods.
- Participate in laboratory collective life (transversal tasks, cleaning, and organization).
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a technical background in Civil Engineering, Physical Measurements, or Materials Science, with experience in the cement industry in a research and development or quality control laboratory. You should have a strong understanding of cement characterization tests, mineral chemistry of cement materials, and good laboratory practices (ideally in accordance with the 17025 standard).
