CGN Europe Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Operations Manager to join our Operation and Maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our wind and solar farms across Europe, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Monitoring: Monitor wind and solar farms, alarms, curtailment, malfunctions, and breakdowns across Europe.
- Call Supervision: Manage on-site interventions, including log-in and log-off, and collect relevant maintenance information.
- Intervention Planning: Collaborate with grid managers (DSO, TSO) to plan and execute interventions.
- Communication: Trigger interventions with OEM and CGN Europe Energy asset managers through operation notification orders.
- Maintenance Optimization: Optimize the week-ahead maintenance plan, taking into account wind forecast, market price, and human constraints.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and remotely resolve communication issues, breakdowns, and grid failures.
- Access Control: Manage access authorizations and share information with the HSE team, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Emergency Situations: Ability to manage emergency situations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitoring System: Manage and allocate events on our monitoring system.
- Reporting: Report and transfer communication problems.
- Operational Statistics: Collect and report on operational statistics, including major outages and component failures, communication failures, etc.
- Reporting and Analysis: Assist the OCC team leader and department leader with reporting and statistical analysis tasks.
- Data Quality: Control and download data quality.
- Power Curve Monitoring: Monitor power curves, temperature, and key operating indicators.
- On-Call Duty: Participate in on-call duty during weekends and CGN Europe Energy bank days.
- Process Optimization: Suggest optimizations of processes, OCC procedures, and tools.
- Scada Systems: Serve as a primary contact for support on our second-layer scada web platform and OEM scada systems.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with our 24/7 monitoring system and organization. This may require flexible working hours, including nights.
Requirements:- Education: Engineering school, bachelor's or master's degree in renewable projects, data science, or related fields (physics, mechanics, etc.).
- Work Experience: Experience as a dispatcher within an OEM or DSO, TSO, or other industries (nuclear, etc.).
- Skills: Excellent team player, goal-oriented, dynamic, curious, quick learner, problem solver, excellent verbal communication, wind and solar technology knowledge, understanding of main stakeholders and their interactions in the wind and solar industry, data analytics, computer skills, and interest in discovering new tools.
- Language: Fluent in French and English.
- Salary: Starting from 50K/year (allowance included).
