Serving as a strategic partner to senior management, HR, and Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility teams, you will be central to addressing the Group's human and structural challenges.
Your role encompasses providing expert, pragmatic legal counsel while upholding Ubisoft's culture and values.
Your responsibilities will include:
- As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will engage in advising and supporting teams at both the headquarters and local levels on a range of legal matters that are often unconventional, disruptive, and carry significant multicultural legal implications.
- Involvement in the definition, execution, and support of HR initiatives at the Group level, particularly aimed at harmonizing and enhancing practices and policies across various topics, including:
- Compensation and benefits,
- Intra-group mobility, including secondments, expatriations, and international assignments.
- Recruitment processes, career development, drafting, implementing, and overseeing employment contracts for senior management.
- Guidance on managing staff representation bodies and trade unions at an international scale.
- Collaborating daily with operational teams (production & technology), Social Relations, Data Protection, Corporate Tax, Diversity Inclusion, and Accessibility teams on the social law implications of innovative projects, while considering local legal and cultural nuances.
- Supporting corporate initiatives, transformations, and organizational evolution on an international level.
- Occasionally advising and assisting HR teams in managing litigation matters on a global scale.
- Contributing alongside leadership teams and supporting working groups focused on innovative projects.
- Staying informed about changes in the legal landscape and HR trends within the video game industry and other disruptive sectors that may impact human-related issues.
- Lastly, you will mentor, guide, and train HR teams worldwide on best legal practices in social law.
- As a labor law expert, you should possess extensive experience in similar roles within international contexts, including at least one significant tenure in an international organization.
- A robust legal education in social law is essential, along with a keen interest in foreign legislation and HR practices, complemented by a solid international legal background.
- You should exhibit leadership qualities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to cultivate positive and constructive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including operational, HR, and executive teams.
- Strong legal analytical skills and excellent writing capabilities are required.
- You must be extremely meticulous, possess a positive outlook, intellectual creativity, adaptability, and the ability to address challenges through risk analysis.
- Agility, proactivity, and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing and delivering results in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
- You should be self-sufficient yet also embody a strong team spirit.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary, as a significant portion of your interactions will be with English-speaking colleagues.
