Risk Management Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious Risk Management Specialist to join our team at ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales. As a Junior Market Risk Analyst, you will contribute to the development of our risk management framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
About the Role
- This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, allowing you to grow professionally within our organization.
- You will be part of the Global Risk Analytics team, working closely with trading desks to monitor and report market risks, leveraging data analysis and financial knowledge to inform decision-making.
- Your expertise will directly impact our commitment to excellence and innovation within the Risk Expertise center of GEMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and scenario analyses to evaluate potential impact.
- Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the board of directors.
- Model and New Product Validation: Support validation of risk models and assess new products or business initiatives for compliance with internal risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in finance, risk management, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in Market Risks, preferably in a Banking or Utilities company in a Trading environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex risk concepts and findings to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions about market risk exposures.
