Job Title: Water Supply and Sanitation Technician
Under the guidance of the site supervisor, you will be responsible for executing water supply and sanitation projects. Your duties will encompass the installation, removal, and upkeep of pipelines at varying depths, establishing connections, constructing supplementary structures, and conducting inspections of installations across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks as directed by the site supervisor;
- Comply with technical standards established by FNTP classification;
- Ensure the cleanliness of the worksite and tools;
- Report any concerns to management;
- Implement temporary signage on-site;
- Identify existing infrastructures based on network schematics;
- Install pipelines and fittings manually or with machinery;
- Construct various types of connections;
- Perform welding tasks;
- Inspect for leaks;
- Conduct additional repair works;
- Handle asbestos materials when authorized;
- Adhere to required slopes;
- Compact materials according to specifications;
- Operate machinery only with proper authorization.
Desired Profile:
With a specialization in public hygiene projects, you emphasize safety, quality workmanship, and maintenance of equipment. A background in Public Works and Pipelaying Construction, along with relevant experience in this sector, is preferred.
