The Head of IS Risk and PnL Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the IS Risk and PnL FO Core and Risk & PnL FO Solutions teams. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and policies, and collaborating with other teams to align with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the IS Risk and PnL FO Core and Risk & PnL FO Solutions teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure team adherence to organizational standards and policies
  • Collaborate with other teams to align with overall business goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the teams and ensure they are motivated and engaged
  • Work closely with the business to understand their needs and ensure the teams are delivering required services and solutions
  • Integrate the internal pricing library
  • Ensure timely delivery of developments necessary for the Gemstone projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing IS teams with knowledge on the pricing of derivatives products, ideally for commodities or energy products
  • Previous experience with Grid computing technology (Datasynapse, Symphony...)
  • Ideally previous experience with vendor package (Sophis, Murex, Orchestrade...)

  • Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership skills to guide the team effectively, foster a collaborative environment, and manage conflicts
  • Decision-Making Ability: ability to make quick, informed decisions under high-pressure situations
