Job Title: European Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled European Project Coordinator to join our team at the European Blind Union (EBU). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of existing projects and the development of new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with the Finance Officer to ensure the daily operational, administrative, and financial management of projects.
  • Report progress to funders, leadership, EBU members, and staff.
  • Identify project opportunities within and outside EC funding.
  • Liaise with members about their involvement in future projects.
  • Conceptualize, draft, and apply for projects, including the EBU operational grant with the EC.
  • Work with the Finance Officer to prepare budget details for each project.
  • Provide support to EBU members in identifying relevant project funding opportunities.
  • Assess requests from external actors to join projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of professional experience in implementing projects at the European level (EC funding).
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and financial skills.
