Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Prismatic electrode process from mixing to calendaring, ensuring optimal results.
- Commission and optimize the pilot and Gigafactory prismatic electrode processes, from FAT to SOP.
- Collaborate with the product engineering team to enhance the electrode process for electrode design.
- Improve the electrode process by increasing automation, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.
- Test and validate cutting-edge technologies for the electrode process.
- Investigate and resolve defects in the electrode process during operation.
- Demonstrate exceptional ability and a culture of full-cycle engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in battery electrode processes.
- Knowledge of mixing and coating systems, fluid mechanics, piping design, and fluid measurement techniques.
- Experience with sensors for roll-to-roll web processes and products sensitive to environmental conditions.
- Strong statistical and data analysis skills with tools like Python, Matlab, and Minitab.
- Basic: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Preferred: M.S. in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
