Role Summary:
Air Liquide Healthcare is dedicated to supporting hospitals and patients at home by providing essential products, services, and support programs aimed at the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases and acute episodes.

Position Overview:
As part of the Air Liquide Healthcare World Business Line (WBL) and reporting directly to the VP of Market Access and Evidence, the Healthcare Operations Director will play a pivotal role in achieving the company’s strategic objectives. This will involve the development of a comprehensive Medical Affairs Plan to facilitate the implementation of Air Liquide Healthcare WBL programs and offerings in the respiratory therapeutic domain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and scientific expertise for new initiatives.
- Foster relationships with external medical and scientific communities.
- Oversee the dissemination of scientific communications externally.

Medical Expertise & Education:
- Cultivate and sustain scientific and medical knowledge.
- Deliver Disease State Education, clinical presentations, and address medical inquiries.
- Offer medical insights on new key WBL projects and product development.

Community Engagement:
- Lead interactions with the medical and scientific community, including Global and Regional Medical Societies, opinion leaders, and healthcare providers.
- Develop and maintain a mapping and engagement plan for opinion leaders, keeping internal stakeholders informed about community interactions.

Strategic Development:
- Identify strategic opportunities through active medical intelligence activities such as literature reviews, scientific events, and advisory boards.
- Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences, supporting the development of summaries and presentations of key data.

Communication Strategy:
- Create a medical and scientific communication plan for each program under your purview, including advisory boards, congress symposia, and disease state academies.
- Provide medical and scientific content to support the creation of foundational marketing and communication materials.

Approval and Oversight:
- Review and approve promotional, marketing, and communication materials intended for engagement with the scientific and medical community.
- Manage medical information effectively.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral level degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
- Proven experience in engaging with KOLs, HCPs, or the medical community.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
