Position Overview & Responsibilities:
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled and quick-learning technical software engineer who thrives on problem-solving and engaging with external clients. You will be part of our expanding APAC Professional Services team, delivering solutions utilizing BIOVIA's proprietary products tailored for the life sciences and materials science sectors. This position will report to the APAC director and collaborate with the APAC team on various projects, which may span across different regions.
- Designing and implementing solutions using BIOVIA products that seamlessly integrate with clients' scientific research frameworks.
- Working autonomously or collaboratively within a project team that includes solution architects, project managers, and quality assurance professionals.
- Traveling approximately 10% to 30% to engage with clients may be required.
Required Qualifications:
We seek an individual who is innovative, adept at resolving complex technical challenges, and capable of crafting customer-centric solutions. A strong enthusiasm for learning about new and emerging technologies, along with a solid technical foundation, is essential.
- Experience in laboratory settings within industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or cosmetics.
- Prior knowledge of laboratory processes, lab informatics solutions, quality assurance/control, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 is beneficial.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with teams across various regions.
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team rather than as an individual contributor, as projects will be team-oriented.
- Familiarity with BIOVIA OneLab, Pipeline Pilot, etc., is a plus but not mandatory.
- Any knowledge or experience with ELN, LIMS, CDS, SDMS, etc., is valued.
- Exceptional communication skills in both Korean and English are required.
- Additional language proficiency, such as Japanese or Chinese, is preferred.
