Clinical Supply Chain Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supply Chain Expert to join our team at Roche Kaiseraugst. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing assessments and key decisions to Clinical Demand & Operations Planning (CD&OP), key stakeholders, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage sourcing processes to determine strategic decisions and guidance regarding internal manufacturing versus outsourcing to contract manufacturing organizations.
- Drive strategic sourcing assessments and key decisions to Clinical Demand & Operations Planning (CD&OP), key stakeholders, and senior management.
- Develop and implement supply chain optimization strategies to ensure reliable continuous supply of IMP from first-patient-in through completion of the clinical trial in line with international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Technical Development Teams (TDTs) and Clinical Operations to align supply chain activities with project milestones.
- Provide expert advice on clinical trial design, drug technical development, drug demand forecasting, and supply planning techniques.
- Proven experience in clinical supply chain management, with a strong understanding of systems and processes.
- Advanced ERP system experience, preferably SAP/4S HANA and OMP.
- Strong analytical, logic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply data science methodologies and applied data analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and focus on key messages.
- Ability to lead ad-hoc teams, perform work without supervision, and show good judgment in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
