About the Role

HSBC is seeking a highly skilled Senior ESG Finance Project Manager to join our team in France. As a key member of our ESG Finance Change Delivery team, you will play a critical role in driving the delivery of ESG Finance Change initiatives and ensuring change delivery in a globally consistent, coherent, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the HBCE ESG Disclosure Steering Committee to ensure effective governance and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with dedicated ESG disclosure Project Managers to track project deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Engage with Regulatory and Policy teams to ensure new regulations and changes impacting HBCE disclosures are considered by the steerco.
  • Interlock with Data teams to ensure requirements are considered and follow delivery plan.
  • Collaborate with ESG reporting team to support coordination of BAU changes coming from regulations, data sourcing improvement, Group standardization, and business strategy.
  • Recommend and drive continuous improvement to system and process.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing large-scale change programs, preferably in a large international financial institution.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of different seniority and geographical location.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience.
  • Exceptional drive, motivation, and commitment and focus on operational excellence.
  • Recognized project management capabilities with a track record of successfully designing and delivering change projects.
