About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Carrier as an EHS Manager, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of our operations in France.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS strategies and plans that align with the company's commercial goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management and other functions to achieve optimal EHS performance and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
- Lead EHS training and development programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure they meet EHS standards and expectations.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or a relevant scientific/technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive work experience in EHS, preferably in a construction or field-based industry.
- Regulatory knowledge of safety, environmental, and other standards applicable to building services industries and construction.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and interact cross-functionally.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.
