Hutchinson is a leading company in the design, manufacturing, and sales of backlit Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), control boxes, and vibration attenuation systems, requiring expertise in mechanical, electronic, computer, and photometric fields.
As a direct report to the Group's Deputy Purchasing Director, your role will involve consolidating group needs and optimizing purchasing for your families. You will also establish a panel of reference suppliers for the group. Your main missions include:
Procurement Strategy- Developing a purchasing strategy for certain categories of families and ensuring its proper implementation at industrial sites.
- Knowing the market and suppliers: identifying the best market prices and key suppliers.
- Identifying potential productivity and economic gains with industrial sites.
- Negotiating contracts for the group based on globalized needs and assisting industrial sites in their implementation.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers' representatives.
- Ensuring reporting to hierarchical and functional management.
- Operating according to Group procedures (Procurement Process, Code of Ethics, Integrity Guide, etc.).
- Working with the Group's Legal Department to ensure the annual anti-corruption campaign for suppliers and its deployment across all Group activities.
- Managing the Conflict Minerals campaign for the Group and publishing the annual report.
You hold a higher education degree (Bac +5) with a specialization in purchasing and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in this field. Ideally, you come from the industry and have evolved in matrix and international environments with multiple activities. You are an expert in negotiation, project management, and cost structure. You can prioritize tasks and have a strong analytical sense, making you a strong candidate for this role. English is essential for the position, and some travel may be required.
