Overall Functional Objective:
LCH SA stands as a prominent clearer of repo transactions and credit derivatives within the Eurozone, also recognized as a leading provider of equity clearing services to European trading venues. Within the Technology division, which is dedicated to providing sustainable and value-driven IT services to all business units of the Clearing House, the Head of Reporting Solutions will oversee the Reporting Information System.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Head of Reporting Solutions will be tasked with generating business value through technology, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Identify and monitor technological advancements to enhance the company's capabilities, developing and supporting cost-effective, cutting-edge technology solutions across the organization.
- Provide guidance and escalate issues as necessary to ensure compliance with business, regulatory, and Group mandates.
- Align IT teams with performance objectives and oversee control measures.
- Lead the IT team responsible for Reporting Solutions, adapting the organization to meet both day-to-day and strategic goals across IT and business domains.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of internal technological processes and customer-facing services with applicable laws and regulations regarding privacy, security, and social responsibility.
- Manage outsourcing partnerships to reinforce production robustness across services.
- Facilitate coordination of Technology & Operations topics across business lines.
- Maintain adherence to IT Security policies, standards, and best practices throughout the organization.
- Oversee the IT Reporting department's budget and expenses in collaboration with the finance department.
- Approve and manage relationships with vendors and outsourcing partners.
- Establish and uphold IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including 5-10 years in a senior leadership IT role within financial services.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Experience in driving strategic change initiatives in business and technology.
- Proven track record in managing substantial intra-company and external outsourcing contracts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT architecture and operations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and focus on results.
- Experience in complex, international, and dynamic reporting environments.
- Capacity to critically assess existing procedures and propose enhancements.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent decision-making skills and independent judgment.
- Good understanding of product offerings.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in French and English.
