The EMEA Head of Reporting role is a key position within the SCOR organization, responsible for overseeing the non-technical closing and reporting activities for local entities and branches. This includes managing the multi-gaap non-technical closing and reporting process, preparing accounting presentations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the multi-gaap non-technical closing and reporting process for all EMEA entities.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-explained, and multi-gaap compliant results for all EMEA entities on a timely basis.
  • Oversee the production and analysis of non-technical Solvency II QRTs and local regulatory reporting.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with all GAAPs and local statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively work with the Regional EMEA Head of Closing and Reporting to identify skill gaps and assist in developing skills within the regional team.

Requirements

  • At least 10-year strong financial industry credentials in reinsurance.
  • Robust accounting skills.
  • Deep understanding of End-to-End Group and Local closing and reporting processes and tools.
  • Proven leadership qualities and positive track record in managing multicultural teams.
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and constructive.
