About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating, structuring, and closing real estate transactions. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing value enhancement opportunities for our existing and future portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Paris team in evaluating and structuring real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales.
- Participate in the due diligence process and contribute to the analysis of value enhancement opportunities.
- Develop pro forma financials on a pre-tax and after-tax basis.
- Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data.
- Ensure pricing is appropriate within the context of the prevailing market.
- Prepare materials for Introduction and Investment Committees.
- Review legal documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process.
- Frequent property inspections.
- Collaborate with Research teams to ensure target markets are considered when evaluating potential locations and themes for new investments.
- Continually monitor conditions within local markets to evaluate new investments.
- Liaise with relevant colleagues and coordinate external service providers.
- Active and efficient dialogue with Fund Managers about required investment products.
Requirements
- Proven experience and expertise in real estate markets and acquisitions.
- Ability to build strong internal and external networks.
- Understanding of complex investment fundamentals of each individual transaction and underlying sectors/assets.
- Ability to work independently and as a team within an international environment.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Argus).
- University degree with a strong academic record and up to 3 years' experience preferably in a Real Estate Company or in a finance related sector.
- Fluent in English & French (spoken & written).
- Experience in Valuation would be a plus.
