Our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) ServicesWe support international clients in all aspects of corporate governance, risk management, and mitigation, as well as regulatory compliance. Our GRC services are designed to help clients navigate complex environments and make informed decisions.
Special Situation Group (KPMG Paris)We are a group of hands-on, solution-oriented professionals who assist clients facing crisis situations or large complex projects in cross-border and challenging environments. Our team's strong operational and multidisciplinary skills enable us to intervene transversally on administrative, accounting, and financial issues.
Job DescriptionWe are recruiting a Senior Consultant in Special Situation Group to support our growth. The successful candidate will be involved in various missions, including:
- Diagnostics in challenging environments, such as a JV of a large French group in Brazil with staffing and management problems.
- Reporting/KPIs implementation projects for general management to improve visibility on subsidiaries in complex political environments.
- The reliability of financial information reported by a foreign subsidiary to the group or the upgrading of accounting systems following system crashes or due to a lack of resources.
- Assistance in setting up projects/structures in complex countries, such as opening a subsidiary in Africa or acquisitions in the Middle East.
- Resilience and business continuity assignments in the middle of current issues.
- Highly operational Project Management Office.
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree from a Business/Engineering school or a university equivalent in Finance, with at least 2 years' experience in External Audit, Deal, Financial Analysis, Internal Control, and/or Internal Audit in an international environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good command of French, English, and another language is a plus.
- A keen interest in international and operational matters.
- International mobility.
- Comfortable managing/to be exposed to crisis situations.
