Sales Administration and Customer Support Assistant

HUTCHINSON is a leader in the design, industrialization, and marketing of illuminated HMIs, control systems, and vibration control solutions, necessitating a blend of mechanical, electronic, computational, and photometric expertise.

As a Sales Administration and Customer Support Assistant, your primary objective is to enhance customer satisfaction through diligent oversight of both administrative and logistical order processes, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules in terms of quantity and timing. You will report to the Logistics team within the Supply Chain division and work closely with both the sales and production teams to ensure that the order book aligns with logistics and commercial agreements, proposing delivery strategies that accommodate production capabilities in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing orders from designated clients
  • Analyzing and defining customer requirements regarding quantities and timelines with the support of planning
  • Creating daily status alerts for urgent delivery management
  • Monitoring progress and delays, and suggesting recovery strategies to clients
  • Overseeing the logistics of customer orders
  • Managing the administrative aspects of shipments and deliveries
  • Facilitating effective communication among relevant departments (sales, planning, production, etc.)
  • Determining shipping methods in accordance with regulations
  • Understanding international laws related to transportation and goods movement
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Languages
  • Experience in the industrial sector is essential (experience in the automotive sector is advantageous)
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
  • Numerical proficiency
  • Familiarity with international transport and goods movement regulations
  • Skilled in MS Office and ERP systems
  • Experience with customer portals is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
