The Role
We're looking for a Food Runner who is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work well under pressure. As a Food Runner, you'll be responsible for delivering dishes to tables, communicating with the food expediter, and ensuring that every guest has a great experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift, maintaining clean service areas throughout.
- Communicate with the food expediter to ensure proper delivery of food.
- Respond to guest requests and communicate with servers and expeditors as needed.
- Take soiled tableware to the dish room and unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, and glassware in designated areas.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience preferred.
- A positive energy and a willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
- A flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
