About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our team at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of food to our guests, while maintaining a high level of service and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with food expediter and servers to ensure seamless service
- Perform side work and maintain clean service areas throughout shift
- Take soiled tableware to the dish room and unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, and glassware in designated areas
Requirements for Success
- At least one year of experience in a similar role
- Positive energy and a willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
