The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. As a DPO, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing data protection and privacy initiatives across the organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all products, services, and processing activities comply with relevant data protection requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive data protection policies and procedures in accordance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, and controls to identify and mitigate potential data protection risks.
- Provide guidance and support to the organization on data protection matters, including handling data subject requests and responding to inquiries.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and act as a primary point of contact for data protection-related issues.
- Oversee complex data protection projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data protection and privacy compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
