About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing product development and innovation for Tier 1/distribution channel customers across Europe, with a focus on passive components, especially inductors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies for Europe, including demand creation, specific design-ins, market research, technical trend analysis, and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with customers to develop and innovate products, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
- Interface with our headquarters and factories in Japan to ensure strategic decisions are made in the best interest of our European customers.
- Support our sales function during customer meetings and the acquisition of design-ins.
- Provide daily support for technical and commercial inquiries.
Requirements
- Academic degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
- Experience in electronics, either on component or application level.
- Experience in technical product marketing, technical sales, or similar position.
- Preferably work experience in the automotive and/or distribution market.
- Positive work attitude, commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and team spirit.
- Proactive learning attitude regarding products and processes.
- Fluent in English, conversational in German.
- Willingness to travel.
- Driver's license required.
