Position Overview:
This role is situated within the Procurement division of Safran Nacelles, reporting directly to the Machining & Forging Purchasing Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and establish purchase agreements for the Machining portfolio.
  • Develop and track annual productivity metrics for the assigned portfolio.
  • Initiate orders and oversee their successful fulfillment.
  • Enhance supplier performance in collaboration with procurement, supplier quality, and the Supplier Performance Manager (SPM).
  • Oversee the supplier panel and manage associated risks.
  • Support the implementation of the purchasing strategy for the commodity.

Portfolio Focus:
BTP (built to print) portfolio, including Free Forgings, Molded products, and Circular Laminates, with a focus on Aluminum and Titanium.

Qualifications:
BAC+5 with a specialization in Purchasing or Commercial fields.
Proficiency in English is required.
Technical knowledge in mechanical systems, materials, and methods is essential.
Key attributes include autonomy, attention to detail, perseverance, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to propose innovative solutions.
Familiarity with legal and contractual matters is advantageous.
Experience with SAP and Excel tools is expected.

This is a junior-level position reporting to the Lead Buyer for Forge and Foundry.
