About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team at INRIA, focusing on signal processing methods for biomedical applications. The successful candidate will work on the mathematical analysis and application of quantum signal processing techniques for the identification of vulnerable carotid plaques using CT scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantum signal processing methods for biomedical applications
  • Analyze and compare the performance of different signal processing techniques
  • Investigate the use of 2D-SCSA for CT scan image analysis
  • Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to integrate the developed methods into clinical practice
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (signal processing, mathematics, computer science)
  • Strong background in signal processing and machine learning
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or MATLAB
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
